Back to basics


Hi all,

The 3D printer rut continued into May but I am just as keen to get back into this. I've been working on the tutorial system to increase its capability which is a bit of a dull piece of work, I am definitely at the stage where the last 20% of the work is taking up 80% of the time. This is ok though as it is an opportunity to practice persistence and is a sign that the game is getting close to the playtesting stage.

I will finish some of the tutorial systems first this month and then look at the next stage of quality of life change. Potentially I will just run a playtest with friends, but who knows?

I am keen to work on the content too (unique win conditions) but I am conscious that these backend systems need to be fully operational.

Things I want to achieve in June:

  • Essentially finish the Tutorial System (though it will no doubt need to be extended somewhat)
  • Find one quality of life item to make
  • Playtest with a friend (before playtesting with randoms)
